Tallow-wood Rural Retreat, Krambach
Tallow-wood is a fully self contained 3 bedroom house which sleeps up to 8. It is on a working beef property in a quiet undulating valley, providing easy access to beaches and the Barringtons area for scenic views, horseriding and canoeing.
Winter is a wonderful time to be at Tallow-wood. First thing in the morning there can be a frost but with the continued dry weather on the east coast the days are just lovely. This is a good time to go horseriding at Camp Cobark. It is only 50 minutes country driving the other side of Gloucester on the Scone road. This is also a nice time to explore the forest roads, and the lookouts in the Barrington Tops should be really clear now even if a little chilly. If the sea temperature stays at 20C then a brave dip at Forster would tone up the body.
Whatever your interests there are many places to vist around the area. Tallow-wood is “central” between the Barringtons and the beach. And at the end of a day’s outing Tallow-wood is a relaxing environment.
